I'm working on 73 super that I just got back after its been sitting for 3 yrs . I cleaned fuel tank,new battery, tune up, carb kit and it started up. Decided to change out small custom steering wheel for original steering wheel that I still have but the small wheel was just bolted on, no horn parts. I can't find the parts and don't know what I need. Would anyone have a picture of the breakdown of steering wheel horn on 73 Super Beetle . I think I only need horn canceling ring. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Best advice I can give you is to pick up a copy of the Bentley manual:

And if you have the harddrive space, download this:
These are PDFs of the majority of the actual service manuals from the VW workshops. Be warned, the file download is HUGE, but it's worth it if you can.
Both of those have lots of good diagrams/instructions.
For us on here to help you, post up some pictures of what your steering column looks like currently. You'd be surprised what some of the guys on here can diagnose and tell you from a few simple pictures of what you are working with/on.
