I have no rubber pads between the the rear shock towers and body. I removed the bolts easily but cannot get the pads in there no clearance whatsoever. Is there a procedure for this? I fear what has to be done is remove all the pan bolts. Any help appreciated. |

Probably have to remove all of the bolts and lift the body up a bit. _________________ '67 Beetle L41

You have to pry up the body above the shock tower.
This is how I did it.
