That folding rear panel is all aluminium. As is the bonnet (hood) the rest is steel. Heater tubes running through the spine. The electronics are way too complicated. |

I understand why its rare; the front looks like a mouth with lots of lipstick and shiny teeth .

Yes it’s a strange one for sure, but back in 1970 it must have looked quite the part. And still does. It’s actually proportioned very well. Pop up lights are a later mod that needs deleting. As is the slammed narrow beam.

It’s very sound. Just a little work needed on outer sills which I’ll get done in the next couple of months. |
