So the sudden new creaking and wandering I just had on the way home was because I lost a radius arm bushing. Great.

Anyway, I drove it home for a few miles missing. The bracket hole does not really look ovalized to me, although the front edge does look like it sustained some impact.

What do you think- ok or need to call the mobile welder?

Top is from wheel wheel looking toward spare, second is out towards wheel well. That's a piece of paper to block the light coming through the hole.

I'd ask T3 but if it was mine I'd run it....

Thanks for the reply, I feel like its fine to try running too but have no points of reference. I'll wrestle the other side off tomorrow, which will give me at least one.

I'd email T3 directly, but van-cafe has a pretty good sale going on the whiteline replacement kit that I've already ordered. I'm not going to "showroom" T3 by asking for advice on parts I'm not going to order from him.

If it were me, I would pull the aluminum cup out of the Powerflex kit and offer it up the hole to see how tight it fits. If it's a reasonable fit, then run it the way it is. If there is some slop in the fit, then decide if it's worth welding up or not.

By the way, for future reference, I'm always happy to price match whenever possible and I'm always happy to answer questions, even if it doesn't result in a sale. Never hesitate to ask.

Thanks Christoper- I'm aware I indirectly directly asked for your input, as always appreciated.

Just one point of reference but it looks better than what I had Wink In my case, the arm wore through the sleeve. The arm also suffered damage.

Maybe someone has the OD measurement of a new bushing?

Neil.

New bushings went in great! The aluminum cup had almost no slop in the pictured hole; other side where had not lost bushing was actually worse, couldn't see it but one bushing was all wallowed out. Still fine though.

What I'm more surprised by is how much the ride is improved, noticeably smoother. Really makes me want to change out the rest...stupid slippery slope probably delaying my hightop mod... Very Happy

Yep. I replaced every bushing and tie rod end and ball joint and steering rack in the front end 4 years ago and it was like a new vehicle. No
longer had any issue with trucks and cross winds.
