You might want to give a little more info as to exactly what you are asking.... What sort of beam? How narrowed? If I'm not mistaken, the guys running extremely narrowed beams, 5"+ pretty much dont run either. I'm not sure if anyone even makes a sway bar narrower than 2"?
Personally, I have 2" narrowed beams on two of my cars and run dampers and sway bars. _________________ 1960 Indigo Blue Ragtop (Blue Barry)

On my 4" narrowed beam, I ended up cutting a stock width one and sleeving it in the center. I didn't like the idea of nothing up there holding the arms in place. _________________ '63 Ragtop |

If narrowed it depends on who made it. The stock damper bracket can be moved over and is just like stock. I believe around 5 inch it may not have enough space. I've only seen 2 inch sway bars. When narrowing the springs become more stiff so most don't run one.
Sway bar doesn't hold arms in place. |
