I have an 8 x 12 shed full of various parts that I 'inherited' after my Pop's passing a couple of years ago. I too, am a classic VW lover, but am lacking in his knowledge about years and which parts are what.

At at this point in time, I have no area in which to start any tear down style rebuild projects and have to be satisfied with enjoying our 67', 'Annie B', but figured I could sit down this spring / summer and do some 'inventory'.

Any help in identifying the years / type / etc of the parts pictured would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you in advance Smile !

The engine looks nice and the serial # shows it is from 12/1958 (1959 model year)

Possibly 1968 and newer Deluxe/Standard fenders that have had the turn signal holes filled, more likely they're Mexican or aftermarket manufacture.

The left one is a Mexican Beetle shifter, can be used in any 1968 and newer 4 speed Bug. The right one looks like a Bugpack or similar Hurst knockoff, aftermarket shifter for 4 speed Beetles.
