Has anyone seen these fitted to a 2-door salon? I have found pictures, but never seen one. If anyone has a set a would pay a good price for it!

I might have located the windows with frames, but have no idea og how the rubber gaskets look like. Does anyone know?

At one point in time...when I lived in REALLY hot climate...I explored putting those in.

I was to the point of pricing drilling a hole in my glass without destroying it...hopefully....and trying to have frames fabricated. The mounts for the latch are built into the C-pillar under the headliner.
I did not have any welding skills at the time and kind of gave up on trying to figure out the frame and hinge design. I figured I could just use type 3 latches.

Those would be interesting. I have no idea exactly what the gasket profile would look like. Similar to type 3 would be a guess.

From the parts list...the latches and fasteners are type 3

Also from the parts list it was only available on the two door 411 and 412.

Interesting! Would love to see some pictures of the parts. Ray

I have ordered 2 NOS windows with frames, and been tipped about using type 3 rubber seals. Will also need hinges from type 3 fastback and some other small parts.
Pictures from the parts dealer...

Interesting about Type 3 fastback "hinges"... there is a long latch at the rear, but no actual "hinge" since the frameless glass bends to open. You probably mean what the parts list calls a "fastener" and it has a 311 part number.

The rear "hinge" or fastener. Same as type 3 fastback.
