Does anyone know what this is?

When I bought my 914 it came "some assembly required" and this was one of the parts included. It looks like it should go behind the seats or against the firewall?

Goes in the rear trunk - under mat just in front of rear bumper. There is square indent for the square hole to align with.

Its either a sound absorbing pad for exhaust noise or a sponge to soak up water so you get rust in yet another area.

Very Happy

Hello,
I found your post on the forum which was placed a few years ago. I'm a big fan of this model. Did you planned the modification of the frunk area?
