... there is an ad on this samba for a semi-batwing steering wheel with coarse teeth... is there such a thing...? thought they were all fine teeth, like a 56 to 59. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

Very early 1956 Beetles would only have 24 teeth (coarse). 48 tooth splined (fine) steering wheels came out a few months later. Not sure of exact date or chassis number change, but someone with access to Progressive Refinements and nothing better to do can look it up. _________________ 1947 Typ 11a
