I am putting 73 Thing back together.
Some of the wires in the engine compartment have been cut and I am having a hard time figuring out where a couple go. I have looked at diagrams but they are not shown.

I know what 3 of these are but can not figure out the 4th.
Left to right.
Generator positive - dont know - generator to warning light - generator ground.

Is this a ground?

Had some help with mine. Here is a link. Once I figured them out it was not so bad. Please reach out if this link does not help.

Sorry but that did not help. I have two wires not mentioned in that link.
I need to know what the brown with green marks wire is. And to confirm the brown wire is a ground.

Browns are grounds if its the original wiring. The brown/green I'm guessing may be to the backup light switch. Just a guess as the diagram doesn't show a brn/grn wire.
From the backup switch (F4) on the trans, it would go to a fuse holder (S13) that goes to the coil (15)

I think they have the backup switch wire crimped with the solid black wire that goes to the coil. So I can still not figure out the second wire in the first photo.
It can also be seen in the second and third photo going into the plastic shrouded terminal splice.

That wire (brown with the green rings) goes to the diagnostic plug and is not used any longer.

Just a fyi. On mine they went like this.

The green with red stripe went to oil pressure switch
Plain Green went between Distributor and Coil
Blacks went to coil other side of coil (for 12V power)
1 to backup lights had fuse in wire
1 came from key switch gave power when key is on
1 went to choke on Carb
Browns are grounds
1 goes to screw on Alt
Blue went to Alt
Large red with white strip goes between Alt and Starter
Grey's with or without stripe go to diagnostic plug
