Thank you for any words of wisdom.

It means the seal is not good, you have a small crack, or a hole somewhere.
Or if you're joking, it could be the title of an upcoming Saturday Night Live skit. "moisture in my headlights"

Oh! I feel a little embarrassed now. Though it may have been something more drastic. Also, I'm relived!

Thank you very much!!!

You have my permission to pitch the "Moisture in my headlights" skit to SNL.

You can pull the headlight, remove the bulb and run a hair dryer in there until it is dry. You can also swish it out with some dish soap and hot water before you dry it so the glass and lens is clean.

Then seal around the seam before you reinstall it.

It worked for me for several years until I replaced the lights with e-codes and a harness which made the whole system twice as bright.

I have heard this might be first symptom of transmission failing.
