Inside dimensions of 20' uHaul = 19'6” x 7'8” x 7'2”
Dimensions of a beetle = 13'4" x ~5"
Good luck getting it in the back...and over the wheel humps.
Why not just get a trailer?

Unless the OP ninja edited his question...could have swore he said back of a uhaul.

Yes it'll fit.
The wheelbase on the bug is small, so just get it centered. I brought my bug home 400+ miles on a Uhaul trailer.
I used a larger 'auto transport' trailer from Uhaul. (not like the one pictured above)

Thanks all for the replies. I did get the big car hauler, to ensure a smoother haul. We are traveling from NY to NJ. Just got nervous after reserving it. A couple of years ago, i had a Mini Cooper on one and it was right but wanted to make sure.
Y'all are awesome and I cannot believe all of the super fast replies.
