Hello. I picked up a 77 Westy that's been sitting I'm guessing for 7 years. I'm slowly going through everything. The fridge works on shore power.
Here is where the aux battery goes. The negative is missing. I'm assuming it's just grounded. But there are three wires coming off the positive terminal. One with a fuse. One looks brown which should be a negative? And the 3rd is maybe a foot long. Where do these go?

Also, this fused wire coming from the fuse box under the dash. What does this go to?

I know I need the engine seal...
Thanks! |

Thank you! So it looks like a ground has been connected to the +. The relay is indeed next to the engine lid and looks like where the foot long wire goes.
I've seen a picture of the same fuse sticking out from the fuse box somewhere so I thought maybe it's common on the Westy. It looks like it goes behind the drivers seat... ooohh... Maybe it's for the water pump. I'll figure it out. Thanks again. |

Yep. Water pump for the sink.
The picture helped so much. Still need to check the relay for the charging system but it's now working! The fridge works with the aux battery and the battery tester too. |
