My 67 has been in a couple front end crashes in the last 50 year's I'm looking to replace from the door foward I have a complete clip cut at the windshield post an heater channel not wanting to cut the post. Any advice or threads on removing from the quarters .thanks

Very good info on that repair can be found in the Bentley 1200 manual . . . "The Big Blue Book".
The repair on your '67 is very similar to the earlier Bugs.

I have seen a Lazer Level used to project accurate vertical/horizontal cutting lines, but most use a stepped splice for a stronger weld.

Boy is that the truth! Especially where the firewall meets the quarter.
