At home I put my jack under the front and rear torsion bar tubes. But the typical lift in a commercial garage can’t do this. While the lift’s pads can be placed properly at the rear, finding a spot for them at the front is a problem as they can’t reach the tube.
So where is the best place to put the lift’s front pads?

I have asymmetrical lifts, I back the car in, position the short arms to lift by the torsion housing/spring plate caps & position the longer arms to lift by the two 17mm head bolts at the front of heater channels.
