Could I get some help identifying this 12V Hella horn please?
I bought it with a bunch of other VW/ classic car related items from Germany and was just described just as a 'old Hella 12V horn'. The only ID mark on it is a "12V" stamp on the side of the barrel.
It's 13cm in diameter without the cover (15cm including cover) and approximately 5cm deep. The cover is chrome (looks original) and behind it the horn is painted red on the front.
Any help on whether this would be found on a VW and when it was made, would greatly appreciated!
