Hi All, if anyone comes across a new Cognac interior; it was lost in transit from Australia to Salem, please contact either Kev at [email protected] or Mike at HOG [email protected] we would appreciate any help you can offer to find this lost shipment.

Man, that's going to look good bodged together in someone's Triumph or Miata. Laughing
JK, I hope y'all find it.

I don't think it will ease Kevin's pain and frustration if I were to tell him that a set of original Pedrini 914 wheels I had ordered and paid for has gone AWOL in Portland, Oregon.

Delivered and signed for on 4 May and MIA since.

Big black hole sucking up Ghia parts somewhere in the States?

Nah, your wheels got stolen off your porch by some crack head that sold them for $25 to the local metal recycler. Twisted Evil

I wouldn't worry too much yet - it has only been three weeks and a box of wheels is going to take longer than a small parcel.

No, no, believe me, it's lost within the NZ Post warehouse in Portland. Weird but true. Someone there said it's in a container, but it was never going to be shipped by sea.

The New Zealand postal service has a warehouse in Portland Oregon?

Indeed. It's called YouShop.

That sounds like a useful service for New Zealanders. Australia Post has just opened a dedicated shop in Sydney where Chinese tourists can buy baby formula and mail it home so they can sell it at vastly inflated prices.

Wait, you mean that they don't want their own products with melamine, mercury, & lead?

I don't know about your neck of the woods but they have to keep the baby formula & the laundry detergents locked up to keep them from being stolen. Oh, & we have to show photo ID to buy cough syrup. Rolling Eyes

It's really nice that you are trying to help out the OP by sharing your find - helping one another is what this forum is all about, and good on you for taking the time to try and do just that.

... unfortunately comparing what you found to what was lost is akin to finding a single unopened can of Miller Lite and suggestng that it could replace the lost case of Dom Perignon. Smile

I believe he meant "Miller High Life" is supposedly the champagne of beers.

All this beer talk just makes me thirsty, but I am going to have some champagne tonight because my lost Pedrini wheels have been found, safe and sound, still in Portland, Oregon. They're on the way now.

Come on boys, if you want to drink beer, at least make it a good one: And those are found only in Belgium.

Glad to hear your wheels are safe and sound. Wish I still lived in Portland... Lots of great microbreweries up there. Beer isles for days at the local supermarket.

That is a big call - Have you tried Franziskaner from Germany? I even found a decent craft beer in the US last time I was there called Fat Tire but mass market US beers are god awful. Don't get me started on US coffee...

US coffee! I am in Seattle where we have great coffee and it's Black coffee! Tons of great local beer pubs like Portland.
