I removed my dash as part of my rewiring project
there is a thin plastic gasket like ring around the dash mine is broken into about 9 pieces. Is there a replacement for that?
I was thinking maybe some thin double sided foam tape.
any suggestions
Thank you

either thin rubber hose cut with a slit or contact Ken at TheBusco. It took me awhile to find it and it is kinda like split hose. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

It’s amazing that it might be available. I never would have guessed. That said, as opposed to ordering from the Netherlands, I think I’d try and find a substitute like has been already mentioned. Either foam strip or some kind of hose you can split with a razor. _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum

Hello,
Well, if you must have it... without paying for it...
I would think, that maybe looking at auto upholstery seat welting, it will work.
If you relieve cut the corners, and maybe use some heat too hold the form. It would be a much cleaner look than just a piece of split tubing...
Yet, it's your bus...
It's the little things that matter... |

After mine evacuated itself, I noticed a SLIGHT rattle of the instrument cluster over railroad tracks and potholes. Of all the extinguishable rattles in a Volkswagen, it’s mid-grade annoying. Not as bad as a slacked and loose window regulator, but worse than a westy bed bracket rattle.
