Try Jeffrey Fellman at Classico wheels. They don't show them on the site but I know he has 6v bulbs for Porsche 356 taillights that are supposed to be the best. These should be the same as VW. _________________ Mic

I bought many a LED for my cars on Amazon. Some are really nice, bright, others were dimmer than regular bulbs. The key is to note the lumens or wattage of the bulb for comparison. The good ones I went to buy more later, but they no longer carried that brand so I had to search again, otherwise Id tell you what worked well. It been a few years.
For taillights, and any other light that has a red lenses, buy a red led NOT a white one. the red tail light lense filters out all light except the red part of the spectrum. A white LED , being white light has all the spectrum in it to make white, as combining all colors makes white. so a white LED will have most of its brightness filtered out by a red tailight lense, and thus be dim. A red led however will have nearly all of its light output pass thru a red lense, and thus stay bright after the lense. same for yellow leds thru a yellow lense and so forth. only use white leds for clear lenses such as early front signals with clear lenses.
