Has anybody used a A arm suspension on their vw vintage cars so far ..I haven't seen any so far ....maybe after this we will .....in (1961) porsche 787 f1 cars used A arm suspensions so technically that use of a suspension is qualified.. if 1 person was to want that suspension than their beam 🤔 😉

I'll bet Kevin could hook you up with a bolt on Mendeola kit, I think they are available in both king and link, and ball joint frame head spacing (early or late pan)

$3400 plus shipping, find a set of 356 aluminum drum brakes to rebuild, adapt to the Mendeola spindle, and you're in business!

Yeah I've seen those kits ..I was just wondering if has done it to their vintage speed build ....I would go with annular disc brakes.. if I did that A arm suspension with the 356 wheels of course...but I'm in my dreaming stages right now... only if I had the $$$$....

I've seen at least one build where someone used the front end off of a Fiat with the transverse leaf spring acting as the upper suspension arm- Lots of kits available to convert the bottom suspension link of those designs to a true A arm.
