I love the Golf Estate/Variant R that is offered across the pond, and would love nothing more than to own one. But since I'm an American I know that will not be a possibility for at least another 20 years or so. I have seen APR offers a turbocharger that is just like that on the Golf R, and that it fits the Alltrack. I've seen a few videos onlie of successful swaps, and I want to try my hand. What none of the videos have mentioned is whether or not any other modifications were needed. I was wondering if anyone out there has either added the IS38 turbo to their 1.8 TSI or knows someone who has. I thank you for your time and input. |

Don't sink a lot of extra money into that dogshit engine, it will assuredly give many a chance to do that on it's own. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
