This is my car.
Notice that the intake manifold has a coat of blue, now peeling coat of paint on it. Was this an oem color? Or an off brand? I always wondered about that.

many stock steel manifolds were factory painted a light bluish grey color. The color shown in the photograph appears to be consistent with the factory color. For repaint use an engine enamel.

See the attached pic for the slightly blueish grey VW used to paint the single port intakes. From what I can see of the blue in the original post, it doesn't look like factory paint to me.
