Got those Vanagon calipers in from CIP;
No Bueno.
Vanagon Girling 1-piston calipers are bigger than Bus 2-piston.

Good luck- the last ATE rebuild kit (from an ATE box!) didn't come with bridge seals. It was $18 and the gentleman behind the counter proudly proclaimed that I reuse the old ones…

Clatter, did you check to see if the D4-020 kit is the same? It is listed as a cross reference to the VAG part number and also listed as a Lucas part. Lucas Girling is what you are after, right? It is also listed with the TRW part number SP4017

Well.....that wasnt a measurement but it works just as well...tells mw what I wanted yo know. As that list states.... that is the common caliper half seal for most ATE calipers.
You can get them at PMB performance. They sell it in all of their kits and rebuilds....so I would bet that they can sell them loose. Most of the centric ATE caliper repair kits from Rock Auto have the bridge seals (most centric kits are rebagged FAG or ATE).
Automobile Atlanta has them for $2.41 each.
