I was at a local electronics place on Saturday BSing with proprietor and he turned out to be a HAM radio guy. I think I may have found my next hobby!

Any HAMs out there copying this? Very Happy

I'm not a HAM...yet. I have been wanting to get my license for a while. I do listen to the police scanner. Theres some crazy sh1t that goes on around me!

I’m an amateur radio operator, great hobby. Loved building new stuff and seeing it work.

I have a flyer here for the PPRAA 48th annual Ham Radio Megafest on the 7th not far from here.

If the HAM guys are anything like Aircooled VW people I should have no problem finding someone to tell me all about it. Laughing
