So I just recently picked up a 1986 Vanagon and it’s got a 2.4L ecotec swap done to it! The van sat for a year or more before driving to meet up, then he ran it dry on the way to me and I think picked up some crud in the fuel filter...

But... I see it’s the stock fuel pump & was thinking it probably wasn’t enough for this motor? Perhaps that’s why it fuel starves after a 10min of driving?
I’d love some help as to a solution.... trying to get my Westy road worthy asap

How much fuel does an ecotec need compared to all the other motors (wasserboxer, Zetec, etc.) that use the original fuel pump? I’m guessing not any more. That doesn’t seem like a problem.
