Okay. I own a beetle right? I’m looking to take my bug in the direction of to beat a Porsche, and here in Australia, we get custom number plates. So, which is the more respectable figure? Being able to beat a 993 gt2 or a 959? Mainly aiming for straight line figures but planning on kicking some Porsche’s on the track too. Yes, I know it’s a rarity to see a 959, let alone race one Laughing

Ps. If this is the wrong place to post this please feel free to point me in the right direction.

I'd go with Bugatti Veyron (pick one if limited to 7 letters). 16 cylinders and 1,200hp.

Ha. The number plate comment on my original post wasn’t necessary, it’s more so me asking whether the 993 or 959 performance is more respectable Laughing Thanks for the comment though, loved it

Well....you are not likely to see either outside of pebble beach or eome concors track event.

From what have read.....57 cars made of the 993 GT2.....top speed of 187mph and 3.9 sec 0-60

And only 337 made of the 959.....37 of which were test prototypes. Top speed 198 mph and 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. The 959S package had a top end of 211 mph.

Bill Gates bought a 959. It,was stored by customs for 13 years....until it became legal to import as a collector car.

I see a guy tooling around in a 997GT3RS on the weekends. He usually stops but the deli with his kid to get egg sandwiches.
