How about doing a South Shore show, at least try it. I could probably get Murphy VW to sponsor it. It could be Nantasket Beach related. I could find a space near Weymouth or someplace. I know that BSVOC put some serious efforts in over the years for this area. But I think the club is partially dormant.
But maybe it's time to try a show here, or on the Cape, or in between. I know there are air cooled people living near me. I know of 4 that do not even visit TheSamba, are not that active but might really enjoy a local show.

Excellent idea! Let me know if I can help
The show was awesome too!! I've never seen so many VW's at Hebert's before. I did brake down on the way home which kinda ruined the day for me. Looks like the points burnt. Is anyone else having issues with points lately!??! There were Bosch points purchased new from Bus Depot. _________________ '73 Transporter 1.7L Dual Carb

Get the petroix ignitor. Never look back. Keep a set of points and a condenser as a backup. Or better have another distibutor all set up and clamped at the correct timing and have as a backup.the petronix last for ever and the timing wont change like it can when the point wear. |
