I just shot some 2K single stage on to my mostly OG paint bus. The 2K SS was color matched well but has a little more sheen now that its cured. I know that I can try to buff the OG paint to match so it looks a bit more seamless but I'm curious to know what tips you have to knock down the shine off the new paint so it can match the OG a bit more? Any tips\tricks?

Rub down the new painted area(s) with 1500-2000 wet/dry. This will dull down the paint. But don’t machine buff/polish the area. Then you can hand apply rubbing compound to the surrounding area to help blend in the new & old painted surfaces.
