Hik
Have a '74 Ghia with the standard steering wheel.
Some of the little pegs that hold the back are broken. Assume I cant get these new - any suggestions on how to repair or where I could get one.

Sharpen a piece of wire, heat it and make holes in remains of pegs. Then use screws to hold the back to steering wheel.

Was yours one of those new reproduction plastic housings like WCM carries? http://www.westcoastmetric.com/i-22968032-113-791a.html
If so.. how well does it fit and work like the original? Any slight modifications that you have to do?

Perfect fit ! Even got some of the little retainers that go the pegs.

Thanks.  I was a little hesitant of purchasing one if it would need major work to fit. (since so much aftermarket/reproduction parts can be either good, decent ..or outright bad). But now will go ahead and pick up a few.

Mine was a genuine Audi/VW part.
I found the part number : 113 415 791 A
