Another Red Line Club premium car going on sale in a few days. Again too many hoops to jump through for me to attempt to purchase. Cool bus that I would love to have through.

So I finely went and spent some time out in the garage to find missing cars I knew I had. I pull a couple of totes that have been sitting on a shelf for well over 20 years. Here is my purchased new, one owner, low mileage all original Beach Bomb.

I really don't remember if I had that much of a choice in color back then. Like now, not all cars where available at the same time. Actually the color in my collection is quite varied.

Another excellent find. It looks like antifreeze. Interesting rear wheel treatment. It looks like "recaps" over the plastic wheels.

Hot Wheels Wiki page says .... This casting depicts a Volkswagen T1 bus heavily modified for drag racing, with a V8 engine and "stinger" exhaust in place of the rear seats. The Volkswagen Drag Bus designed by Phil Riehlman has his initials, PR, cast into the bottom of the rear differential. This casting, when released, was the heaviest casting Mattel made, and the most popular.
