Ok so I am a new type three owner...long time type one owner.
Tips and tricks on replacing the fan/generator belt. Anyone? If yes great.
I have used the search.
Feel free to PM me the tip and tricks.

The easiest method I've tried is to unbolt the strap over the generator, tilt forward, slip the belt over the pulley and replace the strap on the generator. Of course, if it's loose (or too tight), you'll have to add/remove shims between the pulley halves at the spindle.
