|
|
So I finally put my 2332 in my squareback. But after finally figuring out how to wire the alternator (no thanks to CB), I go to static time it and no matter how much I rotate my distributer the static timing light constantly stays on. It does have an electronic ignition (pertonix flame thrower3). What’s the issue? Thanks guys! |

You just answered your own question. Static timing doesn't work if you have an electronic ignition. _________________ 1965 Volkswagen 1500 Variant S

How is the light hooked up? _________________ It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

I did read that about distributers with electronic ignitions but didn’t know if it applied to all of them. I have one connection to the negative side of coil and the other grounded out |

It’s going great actually. Got the super beef transaxle in and the motor. Just trying to get the fine tuning down lol.
