Here is a before and after photo....my question what type of Foam to use on the cooler, the stuff that was on the cooler was soaked.
What will work the best and last? Or just leave it empty.

Did you pressure test it while it's out? Did you blow some air through those fins to clear out any of the debris in there? I used a couple pieces of foam weatherstrip. You definitely want something there to force air through the fins of the cooler. _________________ 1963 Notchback - Ruby Red

you only need about 20# of air pressure and a bucket of soapy water- even a bicycle tire pump will do. plug one side and pressure the other- easy _________________ some days I get up and just sit and think. Some days I just sit.

After you pressure test it and it's good - I'd clean it again - still looks dirty to me.. |
