Can a Sync-Link work with IDFs on reverse CB Space Saver manifolds? _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

Oh! Your brackets have a wider pattern than mine. My brackets bolt to the two studs that are on the enrichment circuit side. So they'd have to be against the firewall. _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

How did you get access to install them like that, and how do you adjust? Or is that not super critical with an FI system? |

The brackets mount to the outside bolts, now inside. You can see them in the pics. It was a pain in the ass to set up. The cables run thru notches in the dog house tin. The motor is a 2332, wedgeport, crank triggered. The coil pack is mounted on top of the trans. Ecu is CB gen 4. The car is a 54 convertible. _________________ There are no stupid questions, only stupid people,

So are those wide brackets for sale through Sync-Link? Does anything need notching if I just run them out back instead of hidden, as intended? _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

I know this is an old thread, but do you have any pix of the wide brackets. I'm attempting this type of install now on my 67. |
