16x8 phonedials on late IRS bug without wide fenders?

Hey guys,

So I picked up a set of porsche phone dials today, but it turns out they are 16x8 (8Jx16 ET 52.3) in the rear and 15x6 (6Jx15 ET 52.3) in the front (I think fronts are 924S and the rears are late 944 turbo wheels maybe?) not 15x6 all around like he had said. I think I know the answer, but is there any good way fit 8x16 wheels on the back of a bug without widened fenders?

actually I have a pair of 15x6 et 36 phone dials , one with good powder coat, the other needs stripping and re-coating,( the powder wrinkled in the oven). in Alberta canada
