Bus ride height is up there with the suv minivan mob and way more fun. |
... bus ownership is fun, for sure - but more fun? i'd rather just have both, a type 1 & 2, for the complete experience -

I have own a number of Beetles over the years from a '60 through to a '73 and to a degree I liked them all. As far as owning one to drive the later ones were better all around. Owning one to just look at, the early ones hold more appeal.
I am fast approaching the age where downsizing is necessary both for financial and space reasons so as far as me buying another Bug - highly unlikely - been there, done that! Now if I had a crack at buying a nice convertible Bug... that would be another story altogether! Any year would be fine.
But - no category in your poll for that. |

[quote="mark tucker"]like sanding the paint off and calling it patina. quote]
... the opposite of taking all the paint off, creating patina - is applying more paint to make it look new... few 60 year olds look young -
The forced-patina-look and forced all-pretty and cute-look are the severe extremes. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD
