I purchased some new rock and roll bench/bed hinges from Just Kampers and have them pretty much all installed. The hinges work just fine but the instructions that come with them are essentially non-existent. Thru several sources - primarily the Samba, we figured out all the geometry and got the hinges working properly.

But (of course there is a 'but') they come with a little 'L' shaped bracket and related hardware that is supposed to be a hold open for the seat in a lifted position (when it is in seat mode). I got no idea how or where this is supposed to go. Any assistance here?

thanks - Andrew

almost forgot to tell you that the bracket rests on a rubber bumper installed with one of the bracket screws as shown above.
