Hello.
I am looking for pictures or info on where to buy the mounting hardware that hold the spare tire to the body in the rear interior of the bus. Mine has two brackets that looks like it had a strap or something that holds it in place.
Can anyone help me out with pics or info on where to get it?
Thank you.

Thank you for the pic. I did see that on the post but yours shows it better. Any idea who might have that for sale?

Can someone clarify which year bay windows used the large style and small style spare tire rubber bumpers?
How many of each bumper did they use? _________________ WANTED:

Any idea what year bays used what type of spare tire rubber bumper?
There is a round and a smaller rectangular style. What year used what style and how many of each? _________________ WANTED:

I'm fairly sure the bumpers ended when small 5 wheels arrived, I'll try and have a look at a 71 tomorrow. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

My 1971 Westphalia Spare Tire Mounting...out of focus not withstanding
I can take photos of my brother's 1970 Deluxe setup. The bumpers are slightly different and the attachment system is different.

Thanks, interested in knowing when they made the change to the rectangular bumpers. Sounds like the change from round to rectangular bumpers may have started with the Porsche pattern wheels? _________________ WANTED:

Which Porsche pattern? 356 had wide 5. 911-912 had small 5. 914 had small 4. |

That is the same as for my British specification, 1973 model-year (manufactured in late-August or early-September 1972), VW 1600 Type 2 Westfalia Continental motor-caravan. _________________ Regards.
