Hi,

Just replaced the water inlet on the side of the camper, and was about to test the connection for leak from my house hose. I was wondering what the allowable pressure is for this system.

I looked in the camper manual here on line

https://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/manuals/1976_campmobile/18.jpg

But it was not mentioned. Water regulators for RV's seem to be in the range of 40-50 psi..

Any help would be great, thanks!

Matt

I guess you'll find out when a hose blows off or the tap pops out of the counter and a geyser erupts Shocked
Might not be a bad idea to pick up one of those RV inlet regulators just in case, some parks can have crazy pressures or spikes and a flooded bus isn't any fun.

Sorry for the delay in my thanks, was on vacation.

Being on well water, my water pressure was not crazy high, and all connections were good... one less thing to work on.

Pitt, thanks for that link, also found this in case water supply at campsite has stripped threads....

Thanks again,
