Hello paint gurus
I just purchased a 1957 Beetle, and the original color was L-378 Prairie Beige..The guy I bought the car from had previously bought a gallon of Dupont Centari single stage enamel for it, but never finished the car, so the paint has just sat...I cleaned off the lid, popped it open, and the paint still looks okay, looks like Prairie Beige should...Do you think it will be okay to use? It will most likely be another year or so before I get to the point where I am ready to paint the car.. Trying to upload a photo of the paint, having trouble.. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/262600.jpg _________________ 2003 Samba Chummie Winner- Best Story

If it looks/stirs/mixes okay then I'd spray it if I wanted to. It looks pretty 'flat' so I'd probably want clear on top of it. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Go get it shaken, then spray a test panel. Then you know for sure what the result looks like. |
