Very likely a Chinese made engine you can buy off Amazon for under $100 made under a couple of different names and a couple of different prices. If youre lucky, wont need any work and a lot of fun to zip around the 'hood. If not, a lot of fiddling with poor quality. Guy I work with has two. One was great out of the box, the other he bought off craigslist and after a year of tinkering has it running well. If I recall, friend had to try two handbrakes and changed out the hub on the bike due to adding the engine.

Ive seen quite a few, although I wasent keeping score...I was busy pacing the racing jacks.....
ebay, banggood,amazingzone and swap meets are good sources.

The one my son put together when he was 13 was a Lifan kit.
He used a balloon tired coaster brake bike he got at the dump. He later rigged it with hand brakes, after blowing up the coaster brake hub.
Lots of fun to mess with, real PITA to keep running.
He bought a 59 Honda cub after he'd had his fill.

There is one in the town I work out of. He told me he has $250 into it including the new bike, engine kit, performance carb and a nitrous oxide kit! He has a performance head coming...
