Glass bullet ghia/bug lense = Bus?

Are the early glass ghia/bug bullet (lenses only) the same as a bus? As in: Will they fit and look the same? I know the housings are different.

Anyone make a quality glass reproduction? I remember seeing glass re-pops for sale, but can’t find them.

The glass low light front lenses do not fit. 55-57 bug lenses are the same as a bus but never seen one in glass. All plastic as far as I know.

Yes, plastic AFAIK. About 41 years ago I used a bullet off a '60 bus on a '61 ghia but the shoulder behind the chrome bezel was bigger and I trimmed it to fit with a red-hot steak knife. It'd be hard to go the other way.
