Hi,
I am looking for a recommendation for a thing specialist in the northeast, specifically northeast Mass, seacoast NH and southern Maine.
Anyone have any experience?

Do they have to be "thing" specific? 99.9% of a Thing is the same as a Beetle or Ghia.

Ha, good point and I would love general air cooled recommendations too as I haven't owned an aircooled VW in almost 20 years so most of my contacts have retired Smile

BUT If there was someone in the area that was a Thing enthusiast that would be even better.

Highly recommend German Autosport Amesbury,MA
Damon is the owner.
Works on aircooled all the time.
He has helped me with my 77 bus for years.
Takes time but the work is gppd.
You can supply your own parts if you like.

Great to know, lived in Amesbury for 10 years, now I am just over the border.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Anyone particularly good with VW bodies, rust is a big issue up here and once I do find a thing worth buying Id like to have someone experienced ti treat existing rust and prevent future.
Thanks again!
