|
|
I have a 1980ish sunroof that has messed up hardware and seals.
I was hoping I could find a NOS (New old Stock ) on ebay, but no luch after a year.
I want to do my interior, but it seems silly to do anything with a leaky moonroof.
I'd like to replace it with the exact size since I wouldn't have to cut anything.
I called CR LAURENCE and they don't know and they refereed me to some other guy and he said it was a model sold to the European market and cannot be bought here.
The measurements are 17.5" x 26.5"from the outside edge of the interior trim piece,
Any advice or guidance would be appreciated. |

I sealed it up as best I could.
It still leaks.
I think the real problem is that the glass is curved more than the roof is curved and it digs down on the ends and leave a small gap in the middle. So it drips on the ends.
I either need a new moonroof, weld it back to stock or get new flat glass cut. |

Thats pretty sweet.
it's out of my budget for now.
It seems like the main problem is that the glass is curved more than the roof so it digs into the corners and water pools there. |
