1964 Notch, 12v conversion, 1500 SP, Weber 34's

From cold start, in any ambient temperature, engine will idle fine but dies the moment clutch is engaged. Left to idle and warm up for 4 mins or so, no probs, drives like a dream thereafter.

Gets somewhat embarassing when I forget and go to pull away from a meet. Even worse when she;s won a show n shine and the line up disperses !

Any pointers to get me going on finally sorting this prob out?

cheers
Gareth

This is kind of normal for Weber 34's due to the lack of a choke.
