Hi Everyone,

I would need some help into changing the front quarter pannel for my oval bug.

I am looking to buy these repro from Mika in Finland, however he told me that the opening arc at the beam level may need to be adjusted to fit a 56 bug.

So my question is to try to figure out the exact differences between quarter panel from 56 VS earlier model ?

If someone would be able to help me answering that ?
thanks in advance for help.

Here are picures from Mika's product:

it would, for sure but the price is quite exhaustive considering that I just need the front portion of them.
I am going to contact them and see if the can press the half of it.

The only difference I really see is the fuse block mount unless I'm really going blind

That's what I thought too, but wondering about the arch curves, check what I have highlighted in red, as well as the height of the inner portion that welds on the back of the pannel.

I also contacted wolfpart in Sweden to check if they can press me only the half of the quarter pannel they reporduce.

Here are some picture of were I am with just to give context.
So a beautiful unrusted front quarter but where the front part was hit somewhere in its life.
I presume this happened in the 50's because all inside panels are NOS and like new. I will post picture of the inside later today.
