empi dropped spindles 2018

All the threads I've read that mentions issues are old now so what's the latest when it comes to the quality of empi dropped spindles?

I understand that they are cast with forged shaft and I see airkewld sells them which has to give it some creditabality.

Comments on the new stuff??

Recently installed them on my 69, however I’m Doing a body off resto and FAR from driveable. As for install, no issues. They come bare and while they’ve been installed, began to flash rust. I suggest painting them (black, clear coat, etc.) before hand.
