Duckboard dimensions

Thanks to several post on The Samba, I have the length of the slats, but I don’t have the thickness and width of the slats. I’ve seen one, locally, that was 3/4 x 1 1/2. Seems the 3/4 is a little thick. I’ve thought of 1/2 “. What do others have?

i used 3/4 Oak. if did again, would have done teak and thinner. had to route out area for seat slide adjuster

How much thinner? Would 1/2 be too thin?

maybe someone with a set from Thing shop can chime in. I would think 1/2" hardwood would be fine. there is no real weight place on them. just rest feet.
