How do I get the net removed left and right in the cap. Is it glued in a holder, welded or screwed somewhere what you do not recognize at first glance?

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon.

And now lumber-baron, Pete the suggested member to ask how to remove them sells a stainless set for only $25. I'd be interested to know how they are removed too.

The original screens appeared to have been spot welded.
They are fairly easy to access through vent access cover once the damper is removed. I used an old wood chisel to break them loose and glued the new ones in place with seam seal and have had no issues.
