This is probably a long shot question to throw out there, but I have my instrument panel cluster out at the moment from my 82 Rabbit convertible (gas) to repair my broken red odometer gear and spindle, and thought I'd check and see why my fuel and command gauges we intermittently dropping out.
Tore the thing open and found that a resistor on the far left side of the foil (near the speedo) was fried and melted part of the printed foil backer. Anyone know the ohm rating on these?

I don't know the ohm #. I tried to repair a tear on my blue circuit strip. no luck.
It seams every car has a current type blue strip.
Connect this Rabbit old school rabbit guy.
